PART-TIME POSITIONS (CASUAL)  Employment Application

RECREATION MAINTENANCE WORKER(S) - Closing Date - Thursday, 9 May 2024 @ 4:30 pm 

The Engineering and Public Works Department is seeking two, part-time Recreation Maintenance Workers.  The Recreation Maintenance Worker positions work under the direction of the Supervisor of Sports Facilities within the Engineering and Public Works Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming sports fields and parks and playgrounds, along with janitorial duties.  There are two part-time positions available.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Opening and closing facilities at required times.

• Meticulously groom green spaces, sports fields, parks, and playgrounds.

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness to all parks, playgrounds, and sports fields.

• Perform janitorial duties.

• Support other departments as requested.

• Other duties as assigned.
