Public Presentation of By-Laws 510-E & 510-F, A By-Law to Amend the Municipal Plan for the Town of Oromocto

This notice serves the Town of Oromocto’s intention to amend the Municipal Plan By-Law, by changing the designation of lands located on Broad Road and Miramichi Roadas shown in the links below.

The purpose of the proposed Municipal Plan Amendment 510-E is, to amend the Future Land Use Map by, re-designating portions of the subject property located on Miramichi Road from Park Open Space to Local Commercial.

The purpose of the proposed Munucipal Plan Amendment 510-F is, to amend the Future Land Use Map by, re-designating portions of the subject property from Institutional to Residential-Low Density.

By-Law 510-F, A By-Law to Amend the Munucipal Plan By-Law for the Town of Oromocto

The public presentation of both, Proposed By-Laws, 510-E & 510-F, A By-Law to Amend the Municipal Plan By-Law will be held in the Council Chambers at the Oromocto Municipal Building, 4 Doyle Drive, Oromocto, NB on Wednesday, 14 May 2025 at 5:30 pm.  Any person interested in reviewing the proposed by-law may contact the Planning and Compliance Office Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) or review it on the Town’s website at www.oromocto.ca.                                                                        

Written objections to the Municipal Plan Amendments should be sent to: Dallas Gillis, Director of Planning & Compliance at 4 Doyle Drive, Oromocto NB E2V 2V3 or via email at dgillis@oromocto.ca by 12:00 noon, Wednesday, May 14th, 2025.
