The Town of Oromocto will be holding a public meeting on Monday,7 November 2016, from 6 - 8 pm at the Hazen Park Centre to discuss optiois for seniors housing within the Town of Oromocto. Town Council has organized this event to determine what is the best way forward in creating housing options for seniors in Oromocto.
The whole notion of seniors housing is changing as more older adults are living longer and are looking for different accommodations from what is currently known as "seniors housing." Developers, builders, real estate agents are all invited to this meeting to hear from our seniors and to help re-think this housing market. The public are encouraged to attend to hear from Town officials and to participate in how the Town can prepare for this coming demographic wave.
