5 November 9:30 am – The Town of Oromocto's Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has activated to Level I - Enhanced Monitoring.
The Department of Public Safety is warning that customers should be prepared to be without power for three days.
The EOC will be opening a warming/charging station at 11 am today until 8 pm this evening. Residents are encouraged to proceed to the Hazen Park Centre (994 Onondaga Street) to charge important devices such as cellphones and tablets:
Residents are also advised to monitor the Town's social media or website for important information related to the opening of more warming centers if they are necessary.
