AERIAL SPRAYING OPERATIONS - GDG Environnement has been given the mandate to control biting insects for the Town of Oromocto and Base Gagetown administrative facilities.
To carry out our work, a helicopter will be used to treat certain patches of forest and swamps. The product used is Bacillus thuringiensis, which is safe for fauna, flora and humans.
The firm holds all permits from New Brunswick Department of Environment, Transport Canada as well as authorizations from the town.
They plan to begin aerial spraying operations around May 1st or the following days depending on weather conditions.
