Town Logo

Designed by Pete Stafford, Cambridge Pen & Design to commemorate the Town's 50th Anniversary in 2006.  The current logo is without the numbers represented above.

The red represents both the early British and military influences in the community.

The predominance of the blue is meant to demonstrate the significance of Oromocto as a riverfront community. It also represents the French colonists and Canada’s first culture.

The  swirl depicts the flow of water and Oromocto’s connection to the St John and Oromocto rivers.

The letter  stylized in the word Model replicates the flow of a sail which reminds us of Oromocto’s shipbuilding heritage.
