Town of Oromocto Fall Leaf Collection Programme
In an effort to divert the volume of waste materials from the landfill, The Town of Oromocto will offer a leaf curbside collection of all residential households in November of each year. The dates for the curbside pickup will be advertised in the monthly Leisure Services Guide each fall.
Acceptable Materials
Leaves ONLY in clear polyethylene plastic bags of 1.5 ml thickness with a maximum capacity of 55 litres securely tied at the top and not exceeding 20 kg (44 lbs) per bag.
For 2009, the collection dates are November 2-13. Please do not place leaves at curbside in advance of 2 November and not after 13 Novermber.
Yard waste can also be taken to the Fredericton Region Solid Waste Commission (1775 Alison Blvd.) during its normal hours of operation Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm & Saturday 7:30AM - 3:00PM .
