The By-Law Enforcement Officer is appointed by Council. Authority for the enforcement of Municipal Planning by-laws is mandated by the Community Planning Act. The By-Law Enforcement Officer has additional responsibilities and authority as directed by the Chief Administrative Officer for enforcement of Town by-laws under the Municipalities Act.
